About…

Lifelong Gay, Newly Christian, Figuring It Out.

I’m a thirtysomething gay man, newly baptized as a Christian in The Episcopal Church.

I’ve written for Americans for the Arts, Cinema Blend, Health Central, and The Guardian, among other publications. By day, I work as Communications Director for a diocese of The Episcopal Church.

While all of this will inform some of the conversations here, all opinions are my own. And pretty goofy, sometimes. You’ve been warned.

You can email me here. Or, if you prefer, you can tweet at me here.

I’ve also recently lost my left leg below the knee. I’m adapting, some days better than others. I’m passionate about young(ish) people with disabilities and access, and making the best parts of our world available to everyone.

More words will appear here at some point in the very near future.

  • Good for you, Jonathan! If you ever want to converse with another intellectual (albeit straight 🙂 Christian, you know how to contact me. It was a great week in which SCOTUS got two important decisions right. How exciting to be alive when history is being made. May the Force be with you! (And also with me.)
